The Tuggeranong community has written to the Minsiter for police over concerns about recent gun violence and arson to vehicles in Kambah, Isabella Plains and in nearby Waramanga in recent weeks attributed to motorcycle gangs

The TCC would like to advise of its objection to the above Development application due to the following concerns regarding issues in the analysis with potential significant and cumulative adverse transport impacts.
While Tuggeranong Community Council (TCC) recognises the value of converting waste into useful products and the introduction of new recycling technologies, in appropriate locations, the ACT government needs to ensure that such a facility is safe, non-polluting and offers significant benefits over residual risks posed to nearby residents or the many workers in the industrial precinct of Hume itself, throughout all of any agreed lease period for the site.
A letter has just been sent to Minister Meegan FitzHarris about the buses driving along Anketell Street. The big issue identified in the recent Tuggeranong Liveability Survey was to revitalise the Tuggeranong Town Centre.
