Tuggeranong Arts Centre: Home of Tuggeranong Community Arts
Tuggeranong Arts Centre is located on the shores of Lake Tuggeranong. It has a 108 seat performance space, a gallery, artists studios, dance studio, arts/crafts workshop and is home to the Aft Café Brasserie and Tuggeranong Community Arts.
Tuggeranong Community Arts is an organisation providing a wide range of arts activities for community participation, development and enjoyment.

Canberra Space Centre
The Canberra Space Centre has grown to become one of Canberra's premier free tourist attraction.
The Centre provides a comprehensive series of interactives, displays and theatres depicting the functions of Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex (CDSCC) as well as an historical perspective of space exploration, and has one of only two pieces of the Moon in Australia.
The Centre is open from 9 am until 5 pm daily and admission is free. The Moonrock Cafe has a wide range of gifts and resources for the space enthusiast and offers a selection of lunches and snacks.

Namadgi National Park
Rich in human history, Namadgi National Park provides a spectacular mountainous backdrop to Canberra. Be rewarded with breathtaking views from the roads and walking tracks. Expand your horizons and visit the only know Aboriginal rock art sites in the high country. Pitch your tent in Namadgi's idyllic campgrounds at Orroral, Honeysuckle and Mt Clear. Stop at the Visitor Centre to discover all you need to know about Namadgi.

Murrumbidgee River Corridor
There is something for everyone along the Murrumbidgee River Corridor. Discover the human stories of life by the river, or just dip your toes in the cool, clear waters of Casuarina Sands. Alternatively, take the whole family on a picnic in beautiful surroundings, such as Pine Island or Kambah Pool. The Murrumbidgee River is the perfect place to take a scenic walk. Why not camp alongside the Cotter River, only minutes from Tuggeranong. Enjoy a ranger guided walk and discover the colourful stories of the mighty Murrumbidgee.

Encounter wildlife at Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve
Encounter wildlife at Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve, only 20 minutes from Tuggeranong and Weston Creek. Tidbinbilla is a unique valley nestled in the mountains where you can see many of Australia's unique wildlife up close, have a picnic, barbeque or a scenic drive.
Tidbinbilla is the only reserve in Canberra where you can spy on a koala, catch a glimpse of a platypus and walk back in time with our Aboriginal and early settler heritage. If you want to experience the wild side of Canberra, Tidbinbilla is the place to go.

'Walk on water' on the elevated boardwalks and viewing platforms within Tidbinbilla's new wetlands. View the Pelicans, Blue-billed Ducks, a Darter and much more! Don't miss the bushbirds being fed at 2.30pm each day. Alternatively, why not join one of the many ranger guided activities held each week. There are a great way to learn more about the wildlife and history of Tidbinbilla.
With rugged mountain tors, soft ferny gullies and remote mountain walks, Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve is a beautiful place to visit. Listen for the call of the lyrebird as you walk through Tidbinbilla's wet eucalypt forests with cascading streams. For the more adventurous, there are trails to the mountain tops.
To make the most of your day, call into the Visitor Centre, open from 9am-4.30pm Monday to Friday and 9am-5.30pm weekends and public holidays. There is a hands-on display of Tidbinbilla's wildlife, a gift shop and 'Moonlight Hollow'. Look out for the new Regional Visitor Centre, scheduled to open in December this year.
