More than 140 people attended a memorial service today (Friday 14 August 2015) for our much loved and highly respected TCC President, Eric Traise. The service was held at University House at ANU. It was attended by family, friends, TCC members, former RAAF and Air Services Australia colleagues and local politicians. The number and caliber of those who attended today was testament to the high regard and respect in which Eric Traise was held throughout our community. The service was conducted by civil celebrant, Sharyn Gunn, with loving and moving speeches delivered by Eric’s daughters, Sheridan and Melinda. Eulogies were given by Eric’s life long friend, Darrel Williamson, former RAAF colleague, Chris Neil, former Air Services Australia colleague, Russell Cornish and TCC Past President, Darryl Johnston. It was a time for some tears, to comfort one-another and to the share fond memories.
